LETS KEEP THIS BASIC
RULES

ONE Keep it PG people, this is to keep with proboards rules so the staff cannot make cuts with this rule. You may imply things to a certain degree e.g if you character walks into a brothel looking for company most of us know what the company will be. However you can't go around describing everything in detail, also no details on drugs and booze.


TWO Word count is 50 itty bitty words. It is not hard to reach 50 words however if you really find yourself struggling just flesh it out with a recount of their day or a description of some lovely item in front of them. We do have a counter in the side tab box over <= there so use it.


THREE New members can create up to two characters, recommended one female and one male to keep the balances. After that you can use the cash you earn by posting with those two original characters to create more. So by all means post, post, post.


FOUR Please no mary-sues and gary stus, no one like a perfectly perfect rainbow farting character, they are boring and rather hard to plot with. The more soapy the better so soap that character up (by soap I mean deep, colorful and full of flaws). On a side note please no god modding or just making your character so unbelievably powerful and wonderful that no one can defeat them (look at what happened to Voldy when he tried to do that).


FIVE Thanks to our lovely profile mods we have some nice new sizes to play with. Avatars are 200x300 and they work best when linked. There is also a second avatar in the personal section under mini - also linked - this is 100x100.
Siggys are max 500 width x 300 height. Yes you can have moving siggys and gifs but please limit the gifs, it slows down browsers.


SIX RESPECT AND MANNERS, I am big on this and will enforce this rule with a clawed iron fist. Please respect your staff in the chat boxes and everywhere else, if you don't agree with something they have done please post in the Q&A section but do it nicely. If staff get any reports of abusive language and/or disrespectful behavior those members responsible will be frozen for three days. If it continues they will be banned from Pyre and Pikes. All reports of bad behavior should be submitted by PM only.

SEVEN Thou shall not steal. Don't steal writing, don't steal characters and don't steal art. This also includes stealing characters from books, anime, games and movies, i don't want to see characters who are stolen.

EIGHT Don't abuse the shout box. By abuse we mean spam, be rude, use it to annoy staff or ask silly questions (if you have a question put it in Q&A thats what it is there for).

AND NINE just to brush over your basics. Please keep it third person, so "Olive farted rainbows at Casper and gasped, she was so embaressed". Keep the ratios, we love equal amounts of boys and girls. Once character per accounts and remember your claims.
