She loves her red hair, it is a symbol to her representing her fiery personality and passion to be free. This coupled with pale skin and hazel eyes makes her an interesting character to behold. She stands at a medium height at almost five foot six and is petite in body type. At hogwarts she typically wears the standard hufflepuff robe with a long floor length black dress with a yellow waist sash. She keeps her hair down in tight curls using a spell she has perfected for hair curling. At home she is spoiled by the Prewett daughters with fines dresses and jewels. Personality: Lina is incredibly independent, a factor her mother hates. Due to her father indiscretion her mother believes in strict loyalty however Lina prefers to be free and dreams to be her own person. Though she does put up with a servants lifestyle back at home at hogwarts she is totally different. Loud and opinionated she loves to learn and use magic. She is very friendly and loves to laugh which makes her popular among the hufflepuff house given her gentle nature. She aspires to be a healer and has a caring temperament, fellow house members can rest assured knowing Lina is around to take care of them. She excels in healing potions and spells but hates dark magic and defence against the dark art. The state of the muggle race saddens her and she wishes she could help in some way though she knows she can't. She fears death and avoids all conversations that contain news on the witch hunts and the dark witches and wizards. This does make her a little immature and childish however and some of her friends find themselves wishing she would just grow up a little and accept that death is a part of living. History: Lina's story begins with her father Jeffrey Prewett a muggle born who was born and raised in York. He was one of the lucky ones found just when he started to show signs of magic before any muggles had a change to suspect him. He was quickly adopted by the Prewett family, because of his shocking red hair favored by the daughters of Prewett. However as a muggle born he was not permitted to associate with the pure Prewetts other than serve them so as a precautionary he was married at fourteen to Tatiana Prewett. Tatiana was a half blood witch born from a pure-blood Prewett witch and a muggle born Prewett wizard. Her father was imprisoned and then exiled for defiling a pure-blood with his disgusting blood and her mother was married off to the Malfoy family. As soon as she was able to be married she was married to the muggle born Jeffrey to keep her from mingling with other pure-bloods. Their marriage yielded one daughter, Lina Prewett, who was also blessed with her fathers shocking red hair and became a favorite doll for another Prewett daughter. Beatrice Prewett loved Lina's red hair and always dressed her lavishly showing her off at the best parties. To Beatrice Lina was like a pet and Lina sure felt like one when ever she was summoned. When she finally got summoned to Hogwarts Lina felt immense relief, what made it better was her sorting into Hufflepuff house. if there was one house famed for its tolerance it was hufflepuff. though she has been picked on a few times by other pure-blood descendants - mostly pure-blood supremacists - she has ignored their taunts and carried on. Now in her sixth year Lina aims to become a healer and a independent half blood. |
