Home town: London, England Physical Description: Kain is a free spirit at heart and this is reflected by his clothes and appearance. He seems to constantly have a bad case of bed head, though he does try to brush it that rarely does anything to fix it. It seems only his mother can tame his hair. He is tall standing at 6 foot 5, with tanned skin, his mother brown hair and bright blue eyes. he usually appears in casual dark brown pants, a loose white long sleeved dress shirt and a dark brown vest that are all worn with travel. This is because he does move around a fair bit. When he is with his family he goes all out wearing the finest black robes over fine black and silver doublet, black tight pants and black shiny boots. Personality: Kain is a good person at the heart. He is honest and true and he is devoted to his family. He loves his mother and his father dearly and he loved his sister from the bottom of his heart. He personally hates dark magic however with her death he is now more than willing to make compromises against his moral code. He is highly imaginative and will willingly sit for hours watching and studying creatures and observe their mannerisms and behaviors. He loves animals, he thinks they are fascinating and rather unique, so much different from the muggles and the wizard folk. He is also a supporter of the pure-blood supremacy, not completely however, he does believe muggle borns deserve a slight chance when it comes to magical education and practice. Nothing good will come from exiling or exterminating them. History: Kain had a normal childhood for a pure-blood, born in a family filled with magic and love for their very first born son. he was given all he could have asked for and nurtured on stories of great and powerful Black family members. When he received his letter his family expected the best, they didn't mind that he was sorted into Ravenclaw because this at least meant he was smart. From the very start he showed great talents in wand play and care of magical creatures and he showed a great passion for study. The most common places for him to lurk were the library, care of magical creatures class room and the boarder of the forbidden forest. He was a model student acing nearly all of his classes, by seventh year he was head boy sorting out the students and keeping order. Any mess makers or trouble makers were dealt with an iron fist, he was the perfect student. This ambition and pureness was all driven by his love for his little sister Delilah Black. Delilah was weak child and not very good at controlling her magic, she was lucky to have survived as a baby with a series of colds and seizures. However despite all this Kain loved her with a passion, spoiling her with souvenirs every time he came back from school and later when he came back from work and his travels. After he finished school Kain found work under the council member for the regulation and control of magical creatures. He traveled the country capturing, disciplining and studying magical creatures, in particular werewolves, vampires and dragons. He enjoyed his work dearly however when ever he could he returned home to spend time with Delilah and give her wonderful gifts. It was just before her eleventh birthday when he arrived back at home, she was so excited and they were expecting her letter to come any day soon. Kain bought her a new dress for the occasion and agreed to take her into town, she had promised she had her magic under control but little did they know it was far from controlled. Once in the town they visited many shops, Delilah had never been happier and Kain was over the moon. However their happiness was ruined when witch hunters stopped Kain for questioning, he was lucky he didn't carry his wand on him but they were suspicious about the werewolf tooth hanging around his neck. Delilah was frightened and angry that the men were talking to her brother. A barrel exploded and the wind picked up and the hunters now closed in on Delilah. Kain was frantic yelling to his little sister and she was growing more and more powerful as her fear rose. In the end the hunters chose to end her then and there and with a flick of their swords she was dead and Kain's world was shattered. His magic exploded with his rage and suddenly the people around him including the hunters were all screaming as blood ran from their eyes, ears and nose. That day he killed thirteen people including the hunters and carried his sisters mangled corpse back home. His mother was devastated, Delilahs letter arrived that day. From that day on-wards he swore revenge, his parents approved and with their blessings he joined the notorious dark wizarding group the Black Shield bent on getting revenge for Delilah. |
